Tanylan Farm Holidays is proud to offer four stunningly restored farm cottages; we challenge you to find more beautiful and relaxing cottages in South West Wales at such an affordable rate.
The Longhouse
Originally named Danylan, this traditional longhouse once served both farmer and livestock from the early 16th century until it was later converted into workers accommodation. It was later restored to provide three high quality holiday cottages:
Bryntowy
Once a farm in its own right, this detached cottage is the picture of innocence, but in fact carries a sinister history. In the gallery bedroom is a "wrecker’s window" which it is said was used during stormy weather to lure ships into apparent safety. Once broken upon the shore, the vessel would be stripped of its treasures. Today it provides high quality holiday accommodation sleeping 4-6 people.
Both the Longhouse and Bryntowy are quintessential examples of 16th century cottages in South West Wales brought to life for your pleasure.
