Tanylan Farm is on Route 4 of the Celtic cycle trail.

There are six fantastic golf clubs within 30 minutes of Tanylan Farm, all of which offer pay as you play membership.

Boating
The Ferryside based yacht club is active and accepts holiday membership. It has a slipway, changing rooms, storage and bar facilities.
Fishing
The estuary is a Bass protection zone. Carmarthen Bay is well recognised as one of the most productive areas for summer sea fish species especially Sea Bass.
Railway
Teifi Valley Railway is nearby along with Gwilli Railway.
Bird Watching
Ferryside is at the centre of about ten square miles of tidal estuary and common marshland. The diversity of bird life can be viewed easily from the cliff roads or paths, although the more dedicated would probably hide in the marshes.
